| French Restaurant |
Located in St. Margarets the most famous of Twickenham suburbs the building was originally a butchers at the turn of the 1900’s.
In the early 1970’s as Maggie Maqueens, the original Victorian stained glass windows and lead canape entrance were installed and the first restaurant created.
The first Poirot television series was shot here in the 1980s.
Lawrence Hartley and Bruce Duckett acquired the site in April 2000 moving from no.12 Crown Road to establish what is now known as one of the best French Bistrots in London.
’Feeling at home the minute you enter Brula is a rare and delicious sensation, as is being cooked for by people in it not for vast profit but as a labour of love.’
