Interior, The Five Tuns, Terminal 5, Heathrow Airport, London
Modern British Restaurant
Located in Heathrow Airport Terminal 5, The Five Tuns combines the modern style of the terminal with the best features of a traditional English pub. The large bar stands out even at a distance, and stocks a range of real ales and continental lagers. Weary travellers are served Bloody Marys, whilst plates of food are carried to all corners of the pub. Favourites include the all-day breakfast and rib-eye steak, whilst eggs benedict and Welsh rarebit - a traditional cheese on toast - are ideal for staving off hunger for short haul flights. With a wine list chosen by John Clevely, Master of Wine, and all available by the glass this is a pub worth crossing the terminal for. As the only pub prior to customs or whilst waiting for your loved one, it has already become a home to the travellers and staff at Terminal 5.
